Induction week begins for the staff at Miftah An-Nur

August 15, 2022

In preparation of the new academic year, the teachers and non-teaching staff of Miftah An-Nur Islamic International School held an induction week starting 15th August 2022 and will conclude on 19th August 2022.

The induction began on a high note with an opening speech delivered by chairman Haji Abu Bakar. “There will be ups and downs in life, but as the leaders of the next generations, we must be prepared to make mistakes to guide the children to a better future. Everything we do must be seen as a learning experience, so just do it.”

The induction, led by Lena Khatun Head of Primary, presented an opportunity for orientation and academic inspiration as well as to strengthen the sense of cooperation and community amongst both the new and current staff members. It also serves as a critical moment to familiarise themselves with Miftah An-Nur’s values, curriculum, policies and expectations for the year.

As the staff begins with an exciting and engaging ice breaking session, it soon transitions into multiple group discussions on different methods and practices of teachings that integrate both international and local concepts.

Head of Secondary, Sabiqur Rahman says, “Even if we have different education belief systems, we all have the same intention for the success of the students. So we as a community must help one another with this same shared goal for the children.”

Miftah An-Nur will begin the next academic year on the 22nd August 2022 for 189 students.
