Curriculum
Key Stage 3 (11-14)
The transition from primary to secondary education is an important milestone for students and their parents. The students in year 7-9 will continue to follow the British National Curriculum in addition to Arabic, Malay and Quran, building on the skills they attained in primary. Students are taught in subject groups by specialist teachers.
In Key Stage 3, students follow a curriculum of 12 different subjects: English, Maths, Science, A second Language (Arabic, French, Spanish), History, Geography, Global Citizenship, Creative Media and Computer Science, Art, Music, Drama and PE, in addition to our Wellbeing Curriculum and co-curricular clubs offers.
The curriculum in Key Stage 3 is designed to provide breadth, so that students are encouraged to learn new skills and develop existing skills in as many areas as possible. This ensures that, by the end of Year 9, students know exactly what their talents are and that we have done everything we can to nurture those talents.
